World Changers Academy was founded in August 2002 in KwaNyuswa, in the Valley of 1000 Hills, near Durban. The first programme started with a three-month Life Skills empowerment course for 100 unemployed youth. Since then, over 40 000 people have been trained through hundreds of WCA courses in more than 100 different communities.
Our History


In 2006 we relocated to Giba Gorge, Shongweni after purchasing a 43 acre property where our offices and residential leadership training centre are based.

In 2013 we were chosen to run our life skills programme at Durban University of Technology as an intervention for civil engineering students before going out to do their in-service training. Partners around South Africa and internationally have replicated all or some of the World Changers Programmes.

Since then, over 40 000 people have been trained through hundreds of WCA courses in more than 100 different communities - after the last the last sentence of the first paragraph under the sub-heading History.
